Course dates 2025/26

ALPINE level 1

Level 1 Alpine – Beitostølen
12-18 December 2025

Alpint trinn 1 Telemark Level 1 is the first step to the Norwegian Ski School education to become an telemark instructor.
Or If you want to work as a trainer. We promise you 7 fun days on the snow. Under the guidance of an experience instructor you will learn methodology, pedagogy and practical teaching. As well as awarness of your realtion to ones' own teqnique.
The course includes personal skill training, awareness of one's own technique, methodology, pedagogy, and practical teaching for both children and adult beginners on skis.
Completion of the course qualifies participants to teach children and adult beginners. Our course instructors have many years of experience in training ski instructors and additionally work full-time as ski teachers.

Alpine Level 2

Level 2 Alpine – Beitostølen

This is the second instructor course in alpine skiing, designed for those who wish to work at a ski school or as an instructor.
Here, we delve deeper into the analysis of the skier, focusing on understanding their technique and how to effectively communicate this in a way that makes learning as straightforward as possible for the student. Upon completing Level 2, you will be qualified to teach intermediate skiers and will receive IVSI certification, an international accreditation that qualifies you to work in ski schools both domestically and abroad.

We require a minimum of 5 participants for the course to commence. If the course is canceled due to insufficient participants, all attendees will receive a full refund.

Telemark Level 1

Level 1 Telemark skiing - Beitostølen 5 day modul based course

Telemark Level 1 is the first step to the Norwegian Ski School education to become an telemark instructor.
Or/and want to start working as a telemark instructor or coach in sports teams.
We can promise you five enriching days filled with skiing, guided by an experienced telemark instructor
This course is module-based and spans 5 days at Beitostølen.

The course includes personal skill training, awareness of one's own technique, methodology, pedagogy, and practical teaching for both children and adult beginners on skis.

Do you dream of working as a cross-country ski instructor? Level 1 is the ideal starting point for those who aspire to build a career in a ski school or as an instructor and coach.

The instructor course is carefully designed to provide you with a solid foundation, focusing on developing your personal skills and fundamental pedagogical knowledge. Through inspiring and educational sessions, you will be well-equipped to teach children, youth, and adult beginners in a safe and engaging way.

After completing Level 1, you will be qualified to work as a cross-country ski instructor in Norway.

Have you completed level 1 and the mandatory trainee hours, and are ready to develop further as a cross-country ski instructor? Then level 2 here at Beitostølen is the next natural step.

This course is tailored for those of you who want to delve into technical analysis and communication - and learn how to help your students reach their full potential in a precise, motivating and clear way.
Over seven inspiring days on the trails, you will gain insight into how to develop skiers from beginner to intermediate level. At the same time, you will actively work on further developing your own skiing skills.
