Alpine level 1 for those who want to become alpine ski instructors
Dreaming of working as a ski instructor? Then Alpine Level 1 is the first step in the education pathway of Den Norske Skiskole. – and at Beitostølen, you’ll experience a course that places strong emphasis on the skills, requirements, and expectations needed to work in a ski school.

Alpine Level 2
Level 2 Alpine – Beitostølen

Alpine Level 2 – the next step in the Norwegian Ski School pathway, created for instructors who already have foundational Level 1, and the 30 hours work experience, and are ready to advance toward becoming professional ski teachers.
This level gives you both deeper technical insight, greater teaching competence and most importantly IVSI certificationan international qualification that allows you to work in ski schools both in Norway and abroad

Analysis of skiing – how to identify key details and understand cause–effect relationships
Methodology and pedagogy at a more advanced level
Practical teaching of intermediate skiers
Communication and delivery – how to help students progress effectively
Professional instructor role – confidence, structure, and quality in your teaching
Our course leaders have many years of experience in instructor education and work full‑time as professional ski teachers.
After passing the Level 2 course:
You will have skills to:
Competence to teach intermediate skiers
IVSI- certificat An international certification that opens doors to ski schools both in Norway and abroad
A solid foundation for further development toward Level 3

Telemark Level 1
Level 1 Telemark skiing - Beitostølen 5 day modul based course

Telemark Level 1 is the first step to the Norwegian Ski School education to become an telemark instructor.
Or/and want to start working as a telemark instructor or coach in sports teams.
We can promise you five enriching days filled with skiing, guided by an experienced telemark instructor
This course is module-based and spans 5 days at Beitostølen.
The course includes personal skill training, awareness of one's own technique, methodology, pedagogy, and practical teaching for both children and adult beginners on skis.
Our course instructors have many years of experience in training ski instructors and additionally work full-time as ski teachers.
