Beito Climbing Park is a smaller but fun and challenging park in the forest in Beito. The elements in our climbing park are built with ropes and create more movement on the slopes.
Beito High Ropes Course is located in scenic surroundings in the Beito forest. There are three different trails marked green, red and black. The black trail is the most challenging of the three trails.
We recommend loose-fitting clothes, sneakers and gloves ( you can buy them on site). The climbing park can be booked for individuals or for private groups.
Places for the climbing park can be booked in advance in our online booking, telephone or at our office in Beitostølen center. The park is located in a private area and it is not possible to climb without an appointment in advance.
LARGE GROUPS
For large groups of more than 10 wishing to climbing in our high ropes course, please contact us directly. It is also possible to combine the High Ropes activity with other activities such as team building games
GENERAL INFORMATION
All guests must book a place in advance in our online booking or via our office. There is a limited number of places on each departure.
Everyone must pre-book their place in advance in our online booking or via our office in the Welcome Center. The park is located in a private area and it is not possible access it without prior agreement through Beito Aktiv. Everyone who uses Beito High Ropes Course must also familiarize themselves with the rules of our park, as well as fill in and submit a self-declaration. Large groups can assign a group leader who can sign the necessary paperwork who the entire group upon arrival.
Dogs are welcomed on a leash
Beito High Ropes Course is a little different to other parks in the fact it is built using a combination of wires and ropes. Ropes make the elements more dynamic and creates more fun challenges to conquer. We are very proud of the park and after the updates and reopening in the autumn of 2020, we are ready to receive many climbing-loving guests. The park has been approved by the Norwegian Jernbanetilsynet.
After you have climbed through the trails, you have the opportunity to go paddling or take a swim in Lake Øyangen. On average, a climber spends around 1.5-2 hours in the park.
SAFETY BRIEFING
At the start of the activity, all participants must go through a short safety training session delivered by your instructor. Your instructor will then provide harnesses and check that they fit correctly. People with long hair are encouraged to tie it up for safety reasons.
Facilities
Toilet - We have a compost toilet available for guest use. Antibacterial hand wash is available
Food and drink - Packed lunch and drinks are allowed, but no alcohol
We have a shelter and picnic/grill area available to rent as extra for the day, contact us directly for more info
Dogs are welcome provided they are on a leash at all times
Disruptive or destructive behavior is not tolerated, and anyone acting in such was will be asked to leave immediately with refund

Mini-Park: 105-140cm / <30kg.
WEATHER AND WIND
The climbing park is open in all types of weather. We recommend bringing a wind / rain jacket with you. It is only in the event of thunder storms that we close the park. Downtime due to adverse weather does not entail the right to a refund.
